About
Eliza Ward joined Specialdocs Consultants in 2023 as VP of Strategy and Operations and brings vast experience across the healthcare ecosystem. As a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Eliza began her career at Deloitte Consulting in the healthcare practice advising for major academic medical centers on strategy and technology projects. She then worked abroad at the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates soon after the hospital opened, where her role focused on launching new clinical service lines and supporting various Board-level strategic initiatives, including Vision 2020 growth initiatives (Primary Care, Oncology, etc.). After receiving her MBA at Kellogg Northwestern, Eliza joined Tandem HR (backed by Shore Capital Partners) as Chief of Staff, and then was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where she developed the strategic priorities, implemented lean management principles, and created the infrastructure for growth.
Eliza is passionate about making healthcare better for all through innovative and disruptive business models and is excited to join a mission that cares about the success, health, and happiness of our physicians and their patients. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband Brian and enjoys international travel, golf, yoga, TED Talks, and learning Italian.
